Get the most expensive g5 tower, throw away the ATI card, get the most expensive approved Nvidia card, buy a raid 10 storage server and call it a day.

… in other words, what are you using it for? SD? HD/2k? 4k? On-set capture? Time sensitive projects where encoding speed is important?

Haha, to me the “form factor” for the tower is the G5, it’s just been burned into my brain 🙂
