Ok, a while back I saw a thread that said something about Mac users not getting all the transitions or effects or what not that came with the windows version of Premier Pro. I searched but now I can’t find it. Can someone tell me if CS5 is identical for both the PC and Mac versions? I’m thinking of buying a new Mac to run CS5 but want to make sure it is exactly the same on both platforms. I know I have to specify which format when I order. No one has been able to have a good answer for why you don’t get both versions when you buy it already but thats another topic all together.

There are some differences. They are all flagged with ‘(Windows only)’ in the documentation.

Here’s a search that pulls them up.

    Thanks Todd!

I was actually pretty surprised to see the number of items not available cross platform. Many of which I use on a regular basis. Maybe I need to re-think the Mac.
