CS5 Eye Dropper Cannot select color outside of AE
Hi,
I”m working with AE CS5
-I go to select a color in a web browser with the eye dropper
-it selects the color, but the the eye dropper tool doesn’t turn off
-so when I click off on the eye dropper tool back in AE, it just chooses that default grey from the AE eye dropper buttonI’ve tried holding down ctrl and that doesn’t work either. It worked fine in CS3 and 4 for me.
Any ideas?

Unfortunately, I’ve tried all of those things, and do them frequently outside of these problems.
Are there any particular preferences I should trash?

Tried that too, I hold down option when I go out of the project, then I go back to AE and even though I’ve already selected a color, it selects the default AE grey of what I am clicking on.
