    CS5 Export Issues

    Working in the PAL environment, I want to be able to import AVCHD 1080 50p footage, edit it and export it at 1920 x 1080 for playing on a full HD TV via a USB stick. I have tried MPEG2, H264 and WMV files. All work OK (at least on my computer) until there is movement across the screen and then there is jerkiness and a strobing effect. I have noted that this is not a problem with blu-ray. Can anyobe suggest editing and export settings to overcome this issue.

    Is this when playing off the USB stick on the TV?
    Progressive footage can look strobby like that.
    The USB stick might NOT be able to playback that footage fast enough for smooth playback….

    Thanks for that.
    The footage was shot in 1080p 50 but exported to USB as 1080i 25.
