  CS4 Premiere preview issue

  I just bought a new PC and I am having issues with my new rig and CS4. Has anyone seen this one?

  1. My old PC ran Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit.
  2. New PC runs Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit (I have 16gb RAM)
  3. I have a new copy of CS4 Premiere Pro, and all the updates are current.

  I opened an existing project that runs fine on my old PC. When I rebuilt the previews (render all), the preview shows exactly half-height. Black bar on the top half, video squashed in the lower half of the preview screen.

  I went in and changed the preview CODEC from Microsoft AVI to MPEG and re-rendered and it worked fine.

  What is up? Do I need to find a new CODEC? I would stick with MPEG but it is just so slow to render (about 5X slower).

  Has anyone seen this?
