    Hi,
My pc is not powerful enough to upgrade to CS5 so i was wondering if CS4 will be less of resource hog?
Also, when i install a new version of Photoshop, do i ger rid of the earlier one? What about the plugins i have installed?

thanks (sorry for all the questions!)

I tried CS4 and had to take it off due to its slowness and lack of anything GREAT compared to CS3.

Now CS5 is outstanding. Wait and when you upgrade your puter, go for CS5.

Anton: I’m a Macuser, so my reply may not apply … but tend to keep my old versions because there are some filters that do not transfer forward. (I have three versions on this iMac..)

I also do pretty simple work, so the results are perhaps not as critical as those of you who use Photoshop for living. Cheers.
