April 3, 2013 at 11:08 pmAlex, thanks for your help. I didn’t do any formatting of the external hard drive. Too skeerd. Instead, I put it all on the computer as the project won’t get any larger. I relinked all the media (Pays to be organized, I wasn’t). Now I can dynamic link to After Effects.
With that said I have a totally different question. Could you watch this; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsR7nB14kH8 From 1:17-2:00 Kevin talks about making a Z map. He says it’s very simple to create in After Effects. I think I understand what it’s doing, but never done it and can’t figure how.
I have to do exactly like he’s doing in his tutorial. I also want to help a poorly focused video and make the background even more out of focus.
So much learning.
