CS4 does not finish to load project and freezes
Hi,
I am using CS4 on a Mac and I am not able to reopen a project (autosaves same issue). The strange thing is, I can open an older Version and even without changing a bit and saving it as a new file, the new project file will not open.
What I did so far:
– deleted all prefs
– eleted all cache / render files
– tested with different user
– import in to a new project
– cross checked on a macbook pro, sameI also installed XML-Wrench on a virtual PC and used that tool to search for wrong chars in file names, nothing found everything valid.
I am really angry with the all in all performance of a “professional” tool acting that strange.
There is a working project file and just with saving it, it gets broken … client is waiting, what to do?

I would think that creating a new project, then copying and pasting from the old project into the new would do the trick.
