CS3 not recognising profiles when printing
Weird problem occurring. Using CS3 printing to an Epson 1400 using a Mac running OSX10.4.11.Profiles generated using Monaco EZcolor. Prints were more or less perfect up until a couple of weeks ago when I had to run off a few family photos, colours way off, eg test file I use has nice juicy red strawberries in it, they were printing out as muddy unsaturated reds. Tried letting printer manage colors – result almost perfect so printer and inks OK. Opened up an earlier version Photoshop CS which I had installed on second internal drive, printed same file with Photoshop managing colors using same profile as I had been using in CS3 and the resulting print is near perfect. So the question is, whats gone wrong in CS3, do I need to re-install the application? Have trashed the preference files but this has not made any difference.
