CS3 Crashing as I render
Hey all
Ive just since yesterday started having the strangest problem when I’m rendering my work, the render will start, go 2-3 times slower than usual then without giving me a reason why, within a couple of minutes, will give me the chance to save the project before it closes itself, this is extremely strange as Ive rendered it before, last week and have no idea why it would be encountering problems as ive only tweaked the sound and a couple of parts
can anyone help please!? 🙁

Hi,
I had the same problem today. AE crashed with always different error-messages. Finally I could fix it by re-creating a new preferences file.
To re-create the After Effects preferences file:
1. Quit After Effects.
2. Rename the Adobe After Effects 8.0 Prefs.txt file (for example, toAdobe After Effects 8.0 Prefs.old) in the C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Adobe\After Effects\8.0 folder.
3. Start After Effects. After Effects creates a new preferences file.If the problem continues, the preferences file isn’t the cause. To restore custom settings, delete the new preferences file and restore the original name of the previous preferences file.
