CS3 8.0.2 update “The updater was unable to locate the product…”
… or something like that I get when I try to install the updater for CS3 8.0.2.
Can I in some way change the location of which the updater looks at? In some script or something… Any ideas, have anyone tried something similar ?

i would assume that the updater looks in the place where it expects to find after effects cs3… probably program files/adobe/after effects cs3, or something like that…
whether ae is installed somehwere else, or the installer simply is not find it, you may need to ask in adobe’s ae forum, or give customer support a call (if you haven’t done so already).

you can’t install the update if you are using After Effects in trial mode.
