I’m trying Premiere Pro CS6 to edit a two camera shoot (wedding), using the improved multicam feature.

Both cameras were running when camera 2 needed a tape change, with camera 1 running. So the result is three clips. Clip one is continuous. Clip 2 syncs at the in point of Clip 1, and Clip 3 syncs with Clip 1 at the out points (There’s a gap in time between clips 2 & 3).

How do I combine the 3 clips in a Multicam Sequence?

    Thanks.

edit them on to separate video tracks of a sequence so that they are in sync with one another.

drag that sequence from the project panel to another sequence (thus nesting it)

right click that nested clip on the new sequence timeleine and enable multicam

then open the multicam viewer window…

As those office supply people say, “that was easy.” It worked like a charm. Thank you for your help.

Thank God for people like you! Using a nanoflash and it does not have any way to tell PP that the clips are spanned. Have a great day!
