cs 5.5.2 Pre Pro every time i click to open a clip it shuts down
I have CS5.5.2 production Premium – My Pre Pro started crashing every time I opened clip. So I did an uninstall and reinstall and Update to 5.5.2.
When I open pre pro all is well, I import clips all is well, click on a clip instantly shuts down Pre Pro????????? any idea? No matter what kind of clips it shuts it down instantlyPC

Did you use Cleaner Tool at least twice and rebooted in between before re-installing Premiere?

Ann,I tried the clean uninstall program. reinstall and did updates. No go? I was wonder is there a log file or something I can send to someone that will identify what is happening? I dont get an error code to search it just shuts down. It ran fine for about a month, then all the sudden shuts down on anything. Thank you for your recommendation

I fixed this problem. It may take several steps. Try one at a time until it starts working.
Clear preference by holding down CTRL & Shift while opening PP CS5.5.2 from the .EXE file found in c:/programs/adobe/Premiere Pro/
Not from the icon shortcut
If there still a problem, create a new user account and repeat the step above.
