I’m thinking about getting a CRT monitor for color grading.
I was wondering what “tried and true” models anybody has worked with and would recommend.
Or, might it be better to get the Matrox MXO and hook up an LCD monitor?
Thanks for the help.

I use Sony Grade 1 standard definition 20″ (BVM) in all my HD suites connected via component from the down converters. I do all my grading on them and the tubes are great and probe calibrated all the time.
What would I do without the ‘UNDO’ button!!!!

I’ve been meaning to ask, actually – Sony CRT monitors seem to be very popular, but I’ve never heard much either way about JVC’s monitors.
This one at B&H seems like a good price, around $480 for a 15″ that does NTSC/PAL, has BNC, etc – ordinary specs. Yet it seems a good amount cheaper than some others with similar specs, so it makes me a bit wary.
