crosshatching
Hi, I have a problem with the crosshatch tool.
A while ago I used it and it worked great, crosshatching as would be expected. I haven’t used it for a while, and now it just doesn’t work properly, it’s all pixelized and doesn’t look like crosshatching at all.
This result happens with both Illustrator CS and CS2. my OS is Windows XP.
Attached are examples of the “satisfactory” crosshatching (the first, smaller picture)and one of many strange results I get now (the second).
Thanks, a solution would be most appreciated…

Where are you getting a crosshatch tool from? Illustrator has an effect >> brush stroke >> crosshatch(that is meant to be applied to embedded images), but have not seen a tool?
