I have rendered a video in mpeg2 format with no problems. I’ve since added crossfades via UltimateS Pro and now I keep getting blank frames.

If I render as AVI I get all the frames but no crossfades.

Do the crossfades work correctly in the video preview window? and do they look correct on the timeline? It seems odd that they would render differently for different formats.

The crossfades look right and they work right however, since adding them I cannot make a render. By clicking on the frames I can see them in preview mode but sometimes thay do no appear when running a preview.

What codec does your source video use? Sometimes this can be a codec problem.

Source video was recorded on a Canon XM2

I have stripped everything out and started with the basic file. I thought that if that would render I’d add additional items to see if I could establish where the problem starts.
Removing all crossfades and any additional video tracks the file will render in avi format but not mpeg-2. When I add crossfades the file renders in avi format but the crossfades are just blank screens.
