  Cross Dissolves won’t stay rendered

  I have been putting together a 20 minute compliation video with multiple cross-dissolves. Up until yesterday, I did not have any problems. Now, the cross-dissolves in the first half of the video will not render. Rather, I should say that they “background render” but they remain marked as orange and do not play back correctly. Does anyone have an idea that might help..? I’ve attempted to re-render all clips, delete and re-add the dissolves, nothing seems to be working.
