    Cropping the frame

    I shot DVCPRO HD 720PN footage with HVX200. The camera itself shoots 1.78:1 ratio as in 16:9 format. I shot all the footage with 2.35:1 framing in mind. Now i cant change the ratio or rather crop the extra bottom & head using FCP or Premiere. Please help…..

    What are you doing? Why can’t you crop?

    You can make a custom sequence that’s 2.35:1 and edit your video into that. Resizing and positioning the shots to get the best frame for your video.
