I shot DVCPRO HD 720PN footage with HVX200. The camera itself shoots 1.78:1 ratio as in 16:9 format. I shot all the footage with 2.35:1 framing in mind. Now i cant change the ratio or rather crop the extra bottom & head using Premiere. Please help…..

    Thanks in Advance
    Regards

    Hi Areful

I’m not sure if this is the right answer for you, but you can create custom sequence sizes by creating a new sequence and then clicking on the General Tab and then from the very first drop-down (Editing Mode) choosing ‘Desktop’. This will then allow you to change settings that are greyed out when a standard preset is selected including frame size and video previews.

    Hope this helps
