crop 720 x 486 to 720 x 480 in premiere pro?
Hi,
Sorry if this seems like a very basic question, but, I couldn’t get an easy answer anywhere. Here goes:I am using Premiere Pro with the BMD Decklink HD pro(single link) capturing using the BMD 10 bit NTSC SDI(720×486) job settings. Everything seems to be fine until I try to send the timeline of the captured footage to the Adobe media encoder(ie: 720×480 ntsc). When trying to send the timeline straight to a mpeg DVD output without cropping it looks awful. When I try to add a pre-encode task to crop the 486 to 480 I get an error that the output does not match screen size for the encoder.
What is recommended for the best way to go from full D1 720 x 486 capture to mpeg for DVD 720 x 480. I have always edited from DV captures via firewire at 480 in the past.
Thanks for your time!
