I am wanting to create some title backgrounds like you see on news shows for someones name, etc. I saw one particular that was tube shaped that was in motion with lines extending out the right side that seemed to extend and contract. The more solid area had the name. I know this is a bad description, thats why I need help. It would be easier for me to get a hold of one of these aep’s to experiment with and also try to get some tutorial info. The questions: #1-What is the correct description of what I am wanting to create so that I may search for some aep files or tutorials? #2-Can someone list some sites that has some files like this or tutorials and save me hours of searching? Thanks!

Some words to look for are:
    overlays
    lower thirds
    motion design elements

Checkout http://www.digitaljuice.com for ideas. They won’t have any tutorials. But, you can get top-notch ideas from them.

You might get some ideas from Ayato.
https://www.ayatoweb.com/ make sure to go to the English part > tips
The tutorials are not for beginners.
