Well, today is the day and at 3pm California time, we lit up the new StockYard in full public beta.

The Creative COW StockYard is our newest channel and is where you can both buy and sell stock media, such as footage, photos, audio and music scores, project files, and more.

We want to thank all of you who have written and expressed your interest in the new StockYard. We have worked hard on it and we want to thank you all for your feedback and requests, etc.

If you get a moment and want to check it out, you will find it online at stockyard.creativecow.net

    Best regards,

    Hi Ron,
Is great to have the COW offering this new service which seems very easy to use.
What I’ve missed is the info about terms and conditions and technical or legal requirements for uploading material.

    Hi Rafael,

We will have the policies posted tomorrow. We have been working on the site and did not have the FAQ ready to go. I am working on it now and we will tie it into the site tomorrow.

Thank you for the kind words about the interface, Rafael, they are appreciated. It has been a lot of work to conceive something so markedly different from everything that we have done before. But people seem to like it.

I’m having some issues with rollover on the clips. When I roll over a clip, the box pops up, and the video starts playing with audio. If I mouse to another one, the audio from the first keeps playing, and seems to add the audio from every other clip I mouse over.

This is in IE8, running on Win XP Pro, by the way.

    Hello Joseph,

Have you tried IE9, Firefox or Chrome? IE8 is a buggy outdated browser.
