  • Creating vertically aligned text

    Greetings,

I’ve been searching Motion manuals, Creative Cow forums and within the app and I can’t seem to figure out how to create vertically aligned text. I imagine it has something to do with a motion path setting that flips the text alignment, but I can seem to find it.

I’m sure there’s any easy answer to this. Any input would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Howdy,

Set the text’s Layout Method parameter to ‘Path’ and then adjust the path points so that they are vertical. Then uncheck the ‘Align to Path’ option and adjust the tracking to control the now-vertical spacing.

    Cool. Thanks!

    I’ll give it a shot.
