Creating Sun Flares
I am trying to create a corona effect to show sun flares.
The corona emitter that I downloaded rotates around the circle. I can’t find how to stop the rotation. The setting for spin or rotate are at 0. Changing the angle has no effect, nor does emission angle or emission range.
I’ve tried using a fire line and converting it to a circle emmitter, but the flames travel upwards and not out away from the circle. When I change the rotation I totally lose the flame effect.
I’ve tried turning emit from inside / outside on and off to no avail.
Any suggestions???

What’s the exact name of the emitter? Spin and Spin Variation would have been my first suggestion, so it must be an emitter that has something done that’s different than the norm.

Turns out that the velocity was causing the flares to rotate around the circle.
