Creating shadow on shape layer
Hey Guys,
So Im sure there is a simple answer for this, or Im already doing this the right way, but I am creating an animation with shape layers, and I wanted to give the look of depth like in the pic below. Is there a way to parent the top layer (shadow) to the droplet layer so it will adjust when I animate the path, Or will I have to manually do this by adjusting the paths of the shadow shape layer. I know I can parent to the position, but when I parent to the path, It becomes the same size. Any feedback would help. Thanks!

If they’re in the same Shape Layer then CTRL+G will group them and you can animate them as a single/composite/group using the group’s Transform. If they’re on separate Shape Layers then of course parent/child them.
