    Hi Sven Murat,

I Think I’ve found a solution for this within after effects: There is a plugin named Geolayers 2, but it’s pretty expensive. I also have no further experience with the program, but maybe this will work for you. Another solution is to create a landscape within a 3D Program like cinema4D and map a geographical image on.

Hope this will help you out.

Can you maybe tell me specific software to do that?

if you need to add the route to that rendered clips, it’s likely going to be tough…

you”ll need to track that footage well enough that the route that will animate won’t slip. you might try AE’s 3d camera tracker, or possibly a planar track with Mocha. look for tutorials on each. I’d start with the 3d camera tracker. but i think either method will be an uphill battle.

the best way to do this would be to add/animate the route in the same software/plugin that created the map.
