Creating Pixel-Like Distortion
I’m trying to work on a horror series and I’m trying to figure out how to create a pixel like distortion, almost like Dead Pixels.
Example:
How would I be able to create an effect like this in AE?

Hey,
You can duplicate the footage, add some masks, then use the mosaic effect(on the top layer). Then you can play around with the settings of the mosaic filter, and maybe try different blending modes.
