    Hi,

I am putting together a DVD from footage that was filmed on a series of PAL cameras. Usually I only make them for the UK audience but the last one got interest from people in America as well and my PAL dvds don’t work over there (unless watching them on PC’s). I was just wondering if there is a way of creating an NTSC version DVD in Premiere/Encore of my PAL compositions?

    Thanks in advance,
    Nick

It’s not going to happen in Premiere.

For simple footage, you can use After Effects (there are many tutorials) or TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress

For DVDs, your best option by far is to get a copy of TMPGEnc DVD Author 3.

It’s basically a one click conversion in most cases and the quality beats some of the better more expensive encoders like Procoder. It’s also pretty cheap at $90.00.

They have free trials for both, give that a shot first.
