Creating Main Menu with Links using Photoshop Layered File
Hello,
I am a newbie and enjoy learning Encore. I have a photo shop layered file that I want to be my main menu (when DVD begins this will be the main screen). It has 4 “buttons” that I want to link to 4 respective videos (avi’s).
How do I make each button link to each respective video?
Also, I want to include an “autorun” CD option that when teh DVD is inserted into a PC, it will automatically read the CD information only and auto run.

I don’t know about the autorun feature though, so i can’t answer that part for you…sorry

Thanks David. Great site… now if I can just get the menu to appear correctly (it’s cropped no matter how I import it to Encore- any ideas?).

download the Menu template with guides that apply to your tv system (PAL or NTSC 4:3 or 16:9. Open this up in Photoshop and then resize your menu to 720 X 576 (or NTSC foramt size) and then drag and drop it onto the Menu Template and then go to EDIT>>SCALE and just resize the menu to be the same size as the template.
Save out and then import into Encore.. see if this way makes any diference..Glad ya liked the site.. 😉
