Creating Disco Ball Loop?
Hi Everyone,
So I’m looking to try and recreate the disco ball effect like in the following video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIWHuXK2xTI&t=0m16sI’m kind of new to after effects but I have a feeling it’s not TOO tricky. I think I understand the basic parts, using CC Sphere to take a circle pattern to create the disco ball however im not exactly sure how to create said circle patern, as well as overlay the colour and light effects. If anyone has any tips/walkthroughs that’d be amazing!

Try using a shape layer to make the initial circles then use this as a base for the disco ball. See the following:
