    Hi CC community,

The issue I have is that I am I am creating a fair number of presentations in FCPX with bullets on them. I would like to be able to make a motion template which when you drag and drop it into FCP you can select; lets say 4 bullets for that particular slide, without having to keep dragging or copying bullets.

If anyone knows if it is possible to highlight a number of bullets and change the font or size all at once that would be amazing too as I am spending all my time going through them one by to change font, font size, bullet size/position etc and its really inefficient.

Any insight on this would be really appreciated

    Many thanks

    Mark

    Hello, Mark, and good day!

I have a template which I had tried to address this challenge. I would love for you to download it and tell me what you think.
Also, you may re-engineer the template to make it fit your own personal needs.

Thank you and have an amazing day!

Maybe a different approach to generating the bullets?

What if you just make -one- bullet, and treat it as a particle generator source/effect? In the generator, you can then type a number or use a slider and create as many identical ones as needed, set up their spacing, etc. Set up and saved once, making repeat iterations and variations becomes easy and fast…

I tend to think of bullets as something to make in the text generator, myself. Maybe we’re not talking about the same thing?

    I think he’s talking about a bullet list and you’re talking about… bullets? ☺

Deysons works pretty well. But making something in Motion that has multiple timing points just isn’t something that doable. Not that I’ve found.

But here’s a trick. Use Deysons plug to manage the text and animated bullets. But to adjust precise timing, simply compound the title effect, then add hold frames to the compound after each line animates in. Then you can just drag the hold duration about to adjust the timing exactly.
