Okay — well the good news is that I successfully created a file that friends and associates could play in their Mac Computers by rendering the file in DVD Architecht as a .mov file.

Now for the issue at hand: The file opens in Quicktime without a problem, however when it is played it stalls and freezes and then continues only to freeze again, then continue until the end is eventually reached. I tried this on another computer in case it was a memory problem and the same issue was present.

I looked for settings in the rendering section so that I might tweak or change a setting but didnt know what to adjust.

Any tips on this one please?

what rate did you render it at, in terms of mbs?

    max should be 8mbs

also, to create a .mov, you shouldn’t be using DVDA at all, since not creating a DVD, and Vegas has far more control over rendering customisation than DVDA.
