Okay…I’m going to try and explain this as easy as i can. I havn’t found any tutorials for my issue, so i thought i’d make a post here about it.

I have a shot in a movie i’m making where the camera is handheld. That means movement. Now, i want an animation to stand still in the picture. And not in the program. When i create something now and put it into my movie it doesn’t hold it’s position. I have tried to create lines and everything to test things out, but i can’t seem to be able to do it.

Help or a tutorial, anyone? Would greatly appreciate it.

You mean you want all emitters placed to “move” with the camera, right? You need to animate Layer Offset. Check the pIllusion 3 html docs for that.

It’s in Tutorial 5. You can find it easier by clicking the “alphabetical index” link at the top of the index, then click the “Layer Offset” link. You may need to click it a second time to make it jump to the right section.
