This is a pretty simple question but I just cant find the answer.

Im using MC6 with the noise reduction filter from boris and im trying to create a simple mask so that only a certain area is effected. I know with pixel chooser you can confine it to one of the preset shapes but I would like to create my own shape based upon the subjects body.

I’m sure you an do it just cant see it, and every search leads to avid fx.

    Thanks!

If you put the noise reduction filter on all the clip on V1, put the same clip on V2, then use ANIMATTE on the clip on V2 to mask out what you don’t want treated, that should give you what you want.
