Creating a “Save As” Action with Destination Folder Automatically Set to Source Folder
I have created an action in Photoshop CS2 that simply saves my open document as a .png. I would like to have the .png automatically saved in the same location as the open document. Unfortunately, the action always saves the .png in the destination location used when the action was created. Toggling the dialog box option allows me to navigate manually from this destination to a new one when the action is run, but this is tedious. A batch process does not seem to work any differently. I’m absolutely certain that I had an action that did this at one point using a previous version of Photoshop.
