Creating a Realistic Waterpark Slide
I recently came across this image and thought it was a really neat form of typography:

I was practicing and trying to achieve the same effect but just can’t really seem to get it. I used a sweep to create the typography. However, I can’t seem to decipher how FOREAL do the grooves around the slide. Here is my trial (pardon the really messy typography):

Perhaps they used a spline wrap deformer rather than a sweep?
