  • creating a medical cross section of a Blood Valve in C4D

Hi. I am trying to model and build a medical cross section of blood pumping through a vein. I know this has been done a lot in 3D so I’m sure there are several ways to do it. I have mograph 2 and c4d 11.

    Details:
-The valve must open and close (not even sure how to model the valve??????)

    – The vein starts out opaque and turns semi-transparent to where one can peak inside (see picture on right)

    – The vein will have an inner wall that slowly fades away as the animation goes through

-the vein will clog at one point and the whole thing will bulge

-the vein will have red blood cells running through it (Pump action? Not sure how to approach this?)

Please see the attached picture (the one on the right) to get a better view of the viewing angle etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Joel H.

    Randy,
I do not have TP or Mocca.

I was going to use whatever mograph 2 can do. Concerning the cross section opening up, How do I animate an alpha channel in C4D? Just some starting ideas would be great help

    Thanks
    Joel H.

    Also,
Is there a way I can morph one object into another without the other one showing similar to the way the morph tag works in mocca with Mograph 2 instead?

Maybe using 2 single clone objects?
