I’m trying to create a video grid to match the storyboard in image 1; this grid will be zoomed in on and then the camera pans around the grid to show different videos. Here’s how I’ve gone about it so far, in what I think is the best way, but more than happy to be proven wrong!

    1) Create a large (11520x6480px) grid using the ImageWall plugin. Each individual video is a comp within the grid.
    2) Link each video to Premiere for colour grading (it’s RAW footage so needs LUTs applied and I thought it was easier to do in PP than AE. Unsure if this is the case, and perhaps it’s better to keep everything in 1 program? Or is this personal preference?)
    3) Animate and pan in AE, enabling and disabling videos based on what’s on-screen.

It seems very laborious, but perhaps that’s the nature of the task. If anyone else has done a similar task please let me know, because I’m wallowing a bit here.
