There is a high pass filter in Photoshop, and I am trying to imitate it in after effects. How would I go about creating it? I’ve tried using Emboss and playing with the properties, but it just doesn’t look as good because it doesn’t catch as many outlining details.

    Your help is much appreciated

What version of Photoshop do you have? Easiest way, if you lucky to own Photoshop CS3 Extended, just import your footage and apply High Pass either to entire sequence or separate frames, that’s it.
