Creating a helix with a flat gardient (no shadows)
Hi.
I’m to create a helix that has a gradient (Black>Grey>White) but renders without shadows, effectively making it look 2d. Is this possible?
I have my helix with a gradient applied (I’ve tried applying the gradient in both the colour and luminance channels) but I can’t figure out how to render without the shadows etc that give it the 3d look. I’ve tried playing with multipass settings but with no luck.
Below is where I am currently up to.
For bonus points, I’d like to know how to taper both ends. The Sweep Nurb only lets me taper the end.
Thank you in advance.
