creating a good looking old projector effect
Forgive me if this is a REALLY simple task that I just don’t know, but I am trying to create an old projector effect for some footage. The kind of effect I’m looking for is similar to that which can be seen during the remake of the Amittyville Horror where Ryan Reynolds character is filming his family while they are moving into the house.

Just do a little search in the COW Archives, this question has been asked a zillion of times. It was even asked 2 days ago.

my best results came from using either Tinderbox “Old Film” filter, or Boris Continuum Complete “Film Damage”… there are other film effects in Boris Continuum as well.
