    It’s usually much easier and better looking to use real footage of dust rather than trying to create realistic-looking dust with a particle effect. Either shoot some dust yourself or get a stock footage element, and composite it in. You can use various effects to distort, color, and otherwise modify the base element(s) to fit in your scene.
