  • Creating a completely new project incl SOURCE clips from a sequence?

Hello! Is this possible? I am trying to create a completely new project from one sequence taken from a much larger project. I want to put the sequence and all corresponding source clips onto a new hard drive so that it is it’s own independent project.
I have tried exporting the sequence with “Export selection as Premiere Project”. I get the sequence as a new project but it requires me to have the old hard drive with the original source material in order to open the sequence clips. I then tried creating a new project and importing the sequence into it – Under Project Import Type: I chose “Import entire project” but again, I get the folders, clip names and sequence but it is STILL referencing back to the source material from the larger project. Am I using the wrong format to do this or does Premiere not have a way of duplicating a complete sequence along with the raw source material associated with it. Any help would be really appreciated!
