    Hello,

I’m in a situation where I need to cut out the first and last second of about 200 clips in order to create a simple cross dissolve between all of the them. Is there any way that I could tell Final Cut to automatically shave the beginning and ending second off of each clip so that I don’t have to go in and manually do it myself? Thanks for any advice you could give me.

    Cheers

    Bill

I’m afraid not… If they were still files you can do something along those lines by setting an import duration for them, but not with video.

Look up “overwrite with transition” in your FCP manual.
