    Hello all

I wonder if anyone could shed some light on an issue I have.
I would like to create a gian banner type effect that will unfirl from the roof of a building to reveal some text. Pretty much like the King size logo on the Kingsize Snowboard DVD I watched recently (by JD Pictures), if anyone has seen it then you will know what I mean.

Now I am expecting you all to come back to me saying that I will need to use a 3D programme, I have Cinema 4D but my tallents on this programme are somewhat lacking. But If this is the only option could someone point me in the direction of some nice tutorials on such a banner effect or even better than that a free 3D Model readymade for my pleasure.
Or does anyone have any ideas of fakeing such an effect by just using AE, I was thinking by warping or using a displacement map….any ideas would be very helpfull.

    Thanks in advance.

Zaxwerks just came out with a 3D flag plug-in for AE that might do what you need:

I have been looking into Zaxworks, but I dont know if it will be open enough to be able to manipulate the plug-in to create an unfirl effect, appart from that it looks great for the flutter effect.
    Thanks for the imput though….

Anyone used Zaxworks, does it allow this effect….or is it gonna be 3D?

    Well, tha noz
