  • Create “open” masks from text?

    Hi there!
Might be a basic one but… but I can’t find a simple way.
I am doing some simple “handwritten” texts with the STROKE effect.
The client loves it, but keeps changing the text (a few good paragraphs)
Is there a way to generate masks from text in a way that i can apply the stroke effect on it?
The manual labor of stroking a paragraph over and over again is long…
Create Masks From Shapes won’t help me here because I need “open” masks.
I am stroking over a font.

Thanks for any tips or suggestion!

    Tired Adam 🙂

    there’s no automated way.

You can either draw the mask yourself or you can open this generated masks…to do so select two vertices, right click go to “mask and shape path”, and then “closed”.
