Create new sequence from work area bar
Hi
Is it possible to create a new sequence by using the work area?
I would like to be able to select an area from my timeline and create a new sequence from all the layers within the area.I was doing this by dragging/selecting and then grouping layers and then pasting those layers into a new sequence. I am sure that there must be a better way of doing this. If you could select everything within the work area and create a sequence that way it would be great.
I did google it and use help but cannot seem to find anything.
Any help would be appreciated.Cheers

A quick workaround would be to define you Work area, add edit on all tracks at the head and tail then select all the tracks and copy them into the ne sequence. Sounds like a lot but could be done very quickly.

Select the clips and nest them. Double click on the new nested sequence either in your timeline or project bin and the nest will open up as its own sequence. Rename or futz with it however you want.

Apologies for the delay. Sort of helps. Not to fond of nested sequences though. Seems like I render the sequence then it has to all render again on the timeline from scratch every time a little change is made.
