Create Light Swirls In AE…
Hi guys,
I want to create a little animation similar to this in After Effects, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKPEivA8x4g&feature=related… But I was wanting to make it look more like this image from Vista… https://farm1.static.flickr.com/171/414469897_a3b4f09f63.jpg, I have been able to create some cool things in AE before but am still a newbie, can these type of moving light effects be created in AE? Or do I need some plugins?

The Flickr image is offline and returns an error but the YouTube video is just a basic Mac screensaver image.
I am scratching my head trying to remember any thread in the COW that unraveled the mystery of recreating the Mac OSX screensaver animation and I cannot think of a single thread. I also cannot recall ever seeing a link anywhere in the COW that was to a tutorial of the effect.
If you find one somewhere, please link to it here.
