Create flv in FCP 7
I have read some of the older threads on flv from fcp 7 and am wondering if there is any newer solutions for creating an flv file in fcp 7? I have a client that must have an flv file and I’d like to give them a quality file. Thanks!!

You need third party solutions like Sorenson Squeeze.

It has been a while but can’t you just export an mpeg4 (h.264) and change the suffix to flv?

Yes. Works perfectly for flv. And usually fine for f4v as well.

Thanks for the input. I did try changing the suffix to .flv and for some reason it didn’t work for the client. I have tried using Adobe Media Encoder CS5 and it seems to have worked. We’ll see what what the client says.
