I’m creating an image that has a fair degree of complexity, especially with its transparency, so I made a very complex alpha channel to key the background out, but as I saw the alpha channel think it just works better than the image itself and I would like to use it as a final file, the thing I can’t find how to convert the alpha channel into a new image of its own, is this possible? It should be, right? I’m on CS4.

As usual, any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

    Best,

    D.

From the Channels panel menu, choose Duplicate Channel.

In the Duplicate Channel dialog, under Destination, Document: choose New.

All of the vim with none of that annoying vigor.

How I didn’t think of that? It’s so simple.

    Thanks!
